The United Planning Work Program (UPWP) serves as an annual budget and guide for planning efforts for MPO staff. The UPWP spans one fiscal year and contains studies, planning tasks, federally funded and mandated planning studies, and relevant state and local planning activities. This phase includes adopting the MTP and MTIP, conducting a congestion management process, corridor studies, mapping, and travel demand modeling. The UPWP also reflects strategic priorities for FAMPO.
