Congestion Management Process

The Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) has updated its Multi-Modal Congestion Management Process. The Congestion Management Process (CMP) is a multi-modal transportation plan with the objective to prepare a regional, multi-modal, congestion management transportation planning process suitable for implementation by local governments, FAMPO,  public transportation providers, and NCDOT. The CMP addresses the need for regional mobility and accessibility, coordinates with transportation and land use planning efforts, will enhance the current transportation system to meet mobility and accessibility needs for the FAMPO region, establishes a regional vision, realizes and supports performance measures, and coordinates with recognized stakeholders.
