2022 FAMPO Committees Meeting Schedule:
Starting in January 2022 FAMPO will be moving from a quarterly meeting structure to a bi-monthly meeting schedule with six meetings a year instead of four. This change is implemented for time-sensitive items on the agenda throughout the year that needs to be addressed sooner than our previous meeting schedule. CAC and TCC meetings will continue to be held on the second Wednesday of the month, and TAC on the last Wednesday of the month. 8:30 AM for CAC and TAC, and 10:30 AM for TCC. Meetings are held virtual for the time being but will transition to a hybrid structure in the future.
Multi-Modal Congestion Management Plan:
The Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) has identified the need to update and create a Comprehensive, Multi-Modal Congestion Management Process. The Congestion Management Process (CMP) is a multi-modal transportation plan with the objective to prepare a regional, multi-modal, congestion management transportation planning process suitable for implementation by local governments, FAMPO, public transportation providers, and NCDOT. Subscribe to email alerts about public meetings or find more information on the plan through the project website here.
Cumberland County and FAMPO CTP:
The Cumberland County and FAMPO Comprehensive Transportation Plan is a long-range transportation plan and a joint effort between FAMPO, the Mid-Carolina Rural Planning Organization, NCDOT, Cumberland County, and its municipalities. To view, the updated list of maps and recommendations click here.
